I am getting so big!

Colton had his 4 month wellness check up today and his pediatrician was surprised by how strong and flexible he was because he can bear all of his weight on his legs, sit up with almost no assistance, and has been trying to stick his foot in his mouth... ha ha! Although, he can't really roll over yet... which is fine by me! For the past couple of days Colton has been really clingy, fussy, drooling, constantly has his hands in his mouth, and keeps swatting and pulling at his ear. I thought he might have a dreaded ear infection and was surprise to find out that he is teething! Unfortunately, he is still not sleeping through the night and wakes up for feedings at 1:30 and 4:30 on the dot every night. Everyone kept telling me that rice cereal will be the answer to my prayers for a full nights rest... I tried it and he loves it, but he still wakes up for that bottle! Oh well, I guess sleepless nights just comes with the territory of being a mom. He is in the 97th percentile for height and took a jump in weight (59th percentile) since he is now exclusively on formula. He is really starting to show his little personality now and loves to talk... loud! So loud that I have had to leave certain places because he wants everyone to hear him! I just can't believe how much fun it is to make him smile and laugh. My heart just fills with joy to see his little face light up in excitement!
